Each dome-shaped pod is filled with studded, or pebbled, massaging nodules that stimulate the feet and help promote blood flow. Perform your balance pod exercises with bare feet, in socks or with shoes on. The underneath of the balance pod is flat and gives the pod stability when standing on the top. To increase the instability of your balance pod training, simply flip the balance pod over dome side down. This creates more stability during exercises such as squats or push-ups, and offers a smoother side for those that may be sensitive to the studded dome surface.
