Dumbbell Racks come in many shapes and sizes to accommodate multiple dumbbell pairs and styles. Some are made for home use while others are fully welded and intended for full sets of dumbbells for large clubs.
Vertical Dumbbell Racks - Vertical racks are compact and usually designed for smaller head dumbbells such as chrome, neoprene and rubber hex. Two-sided A-frame designs are common in this category but larger racks up to four sides are available that will hold many pairs of dumbbells.
Horizontal Dumbbell Racks - Horizontal racks can accommodate larger head dumbbells, such as pro-style or solid steel, and sometimes include rubber or plastic saddles to keep dumbbells organized and stationary. Most commercial gyms will have some form of horizontal dumbbell rack, or multiple, that can line an entire wall depending on how many dumbbell sets they have.
Multiple-Tier Dumbbell Racks - Multi-tier racks can include two, three or even four levels that can store many pairs or sets of dumbbells all within a reasonably small footprint. These racks are space efficient and work great for home, studio and club use. Tiers can include flat shelves for dumbbells that won’t roll, such as rubber hex dumbbells, or saddles that hold round dumbbells.
Group Fitness Dumbbell Racks - Group racks are built to hold as many as 41 pairs of neoprene or vinyl dumbbells that range in weight from 1 to 15 lbs. They allow easy access for multiple members to use at the same time and can also include caster wheels so that dumbbells can be stored anywhere in the room. Group fitness racks are also lockable so that dumbbells cannot be removed when class is not in session.
