JD Max Fitness, LLC is offering a new patented, “why didn’t someone else think of this before” product named “Hookers” that aids in the ability of an individual to perform an Olympic squat with improved ergonomics and functionality.

“Hookers” are the first ever engineered barbell handles that, when applied to an Olympic barbell, allow an individual to hold and stabilize the barbell approximately six inches anteriorly (to the front), dramatically changing and improving the ergonomics of the motion.

This hand grip variation eliminates shoulder impingement, rotator cuff strain and lower back hyperextension while still maintaining trapezius dorsi contraction to protect the cervical spine while performing an Olympic squat.

“Hookers” have a never before seen alternating hook system technology that can retrofit any Olympic barbell, easily hooking to the barbell and providing a secure and safe alternative to traditional, less ergonomically sound, Olympic squatting techniques.

This product is made of solid steel construction, tested to hold up to 800 lbs, now with a friction and wear resistance coating on the hooks to eliminate unwanted motion during use. Handles are knurled for a secure grip while in use.
