Bodyweight exercises are strength training exercises that do not require free weights; the practitioner's own weight provides the resistance for the movement. Movements such as the push-up, the pull-up, and the sit-up are some of the most common bodyweight exercises. When using the WAR MACHINE Pulley System,
the users body angle determines the amount of resistance used for each exercise. Body Weight exercise beginners will want to start with only a slight angle so
as to determine the safest amount of resistance possible until they familiarize themselves with the machine and their bodies own limitations.
Advantages
Because they do not require weights, bodyweight exercises are the ideal choice for individuals who are interested in fitness but do not have access to strength training equipment. One of the biggest advantages of bodyweight training is the versatility it offers in allowing a full body exercise routine to be performed most
anywhere, not just in a gym. The WAR MACHINE Pulley Training System allows anyone to perform suspension pulley training exercises from a tree, beam, pull up bar or anywhere else the pulleys strap can be safely hung from.
