Unilateral Converging Vertical Wide Chest Press | Legend Fitness (6006) - The Legend 6006 Seated Unilateral Chest Press, just like the Legend 6003 Flat Unilateral Chest Press, isolates the lower and mid pectoral muscles for maximum power and lean muscle gains. However, being in an upright position, the 6006 offers a smaller footprint and easier access over the 6003. Unlike typical chest press strength machines, the Legend 6006 is plate loaded and holds up to 9 plates per side. This insures that even the heaviest lifters can bring themselves to failure without running out of weight. The unilateral and converging arm movement is a lot like using dumbbells. Each arm is capable of moving independently which prevents the dominant side from taking over the weaker side. The converging movement simulates bringing the hands together at the top of the chest press just as you would using dumbbells. While the Legend unilateral chest press machines mimics free weight use in a few different ways, where the value in this design really stand out is in added safety.
