Raised in Miami, Florida in a Puerto Rican household alongside her twin brother and siblings, Chady was an active child despite being diagnosed with a Kidney disease at the age of four years old. One of Chady’s passions at the young age of eight was Taekwondo, where she focused and committed herself to earn her first Black Belt at the age of 12. Taekwondo taught Chady discipline, focus, and determination to achieve any goal and to believe in herself. Chady used this newfound confidence to start modeling and cheering her way through college before moving to California to launch her professional modeling career. Chady placed her career on hold while her focus shifted to being a new mother and found herself depressed and over 200 lbs. during her high-risk pregnancy. She found herself suffering from severe postpartum depression and struggling to find her identity again, feeling unattractive and overweight as a first-time mom. Chady was tired of carrying the extra weight and feeling completely drained in all aspects physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She started working out at home as it was the only option, being a stay-at-home mom now. With discipline, and focused on getting back to modeling and working again, Chady lost all her weight by working out at home. While she had already lost her weight she was still unhappy with how her body was after having a baby. Chady went to a plastic surgeon to have a consultation to get a mommy make-over and a tummy tuck but the surgeon told her the only thing she needed was to continue exercising and focus on her diet. Chady left feeling discouraged but she continued to press on and focus on diet and exercise as she had been.
As her daughter grew older she quickly stepped foot back into the gym and was motivated by another woman that had amazing arms and was preparing for a bodybuilding competition. In 2008 Chady was ready to take on a big challenge, she entered her first bikini competition and WON! Chady now holds multiple titles including the 2010 Arnold Classic Bikini Champion and the 2010 WBFF Pro Bikini World Champion, she has also featured on fitness magazine covers such as Fitness RX and Oxygen. With newly built confidence in herself and knowing that she was capable of overcoming depression and transforming her body with her enthusiasm for changing her life, she was finding a passion in helping others.
You can now find Chady still gracing the covers of magazines and being a spokeswoman for many companies in the health and wellness industry. Chady is focused on helping others find themselves by improving their lives through health and wellness. Her journey has become mental, emotional, and even spiritual. She is currently the founder of www.ChadyFit.com sharing her journey and empowering others to REBUILD their lives from the inside out, helping women across the country get out of feeling stuck, whether it's in a relationship, unhealthy eating habits, or in a dead-end mindset.
