Three Strength Stations in One System
The Body-Solid GSFR100 combines an adjustable functional trainer, a linear-bearing Smith machine, and dedicated high- and low-pulley stations. This configuration supports cable exercises, guided-bar lifting, lat pulldowns, seated rows, and other upper- and lower-body movements without requiring three separate machines.
The GSFR100 is intended for residential and qualifying light-commercial applications under the applicable Body-Solid warranty. Confirm the facility type, training volume, and warranty coverage before ordering.
Dual-Stack Functional Trainer
The functional-training system uses two independent 210 lb. weight stacks. Each pulley carriage adjusts through 43 positions on a chrome-plated upright and swivels through 180 degrees to support high, mid, and low cable movements.
A 2:1 cable ratio provides extended cable travel and allows the left and right sides to be used independently. Quad-roller carriages support controlled position changes along the guide posts.
Linear-Bearing Smith Machine
The Smith station uses sealed linear bearings to guide the bar along fixed uprights. The bar is rated for up to 600 lbs. and includes 17 lockout positions and integrated safety spotters.
The Smith station does not include Olympic weight plates. Buyers should verify the plate quantity, storage plan, training clearance, and appropriate loading procedures before use.
High-Pulley Lat and Low-Row Stations
Dual high and low pulleys expand the GSFR100 beyond standard functional-training movements. The low-row area includes adjustable foot braces that can be positioned for rowing exercises and moved out of the way when not needed.
Combination attachment points allow compatible single cable accessories to be used at the high- and low-pulley stations.
Included Attachments
- Aluminum lat bar
- Aluminum low-row bar
- Two aluminum cable handles
- Triceps rope
- Ankle cuff
- Integrated pull-up bar
Weight plates, workout bench, optional shrouds, J-cups, spotter arms, and other rack attachments are sold separately unless expressly listed in the order.
Optional GSFR100SH Weight-Stack Shrouds
The Body-Solid GSFR100SH Functional Trainer Shrouds are sold separately and are compatible only with the GSFR100. They enclose the weight-stack areas and provide a more finished appearance.

Room and Floor Planning
The assembled unit measures 68 inches long, 77.5 inches wide and 86 inches high. Plan additional room for the functional pulleys, Smith-bar movement, cable exercises, pull-up access, bench placement, plate loading, and optional rack attachments.
Confirm ceiling height before ordering. The 86-inch frame height does not include the additional vertical space needed for pull-ups or overhead movements.
The machine weighs 946 lbs. before adding Olympic plates or optional accessories. Install it on a level indoor surface capable of supporting the completed station and training loads. Seek qualified facility guidance when floor capacity is uncertain.
Review gym flooring when planning the surrounding area. Flooring does not replace structural floor verification.
Freight, Receiving, and Assembly
The GSFR100 ships by heavy freight and requires assembly. Confirm the pallet and carton count, shipping weight, liftgate service, unloading responsibility, delivery appointment, doorway widths, hallway turns, elevator limits, and final installation location before ordering.
Curbside or freight delivery should not be assumed to include movement into the building, stair handling, room placement, unpacking, or assembly unless those services appear on the order.
Because of the machine’s size and weight, assembly requires advance planning and more than one capable person or a qualified installation team.
Residential and Light-Commercial Warranty
For qualifying residential use, Body-Solid provides lifetime coverage on the frame, welds, pulleys, bushings, bearings, hardware, plates, guide rods, cables, upholstery, and grips under the current in-home warranty.
For qualifying light-commercial use, the manufacturer lists lifetime coverage on frames and welds, three years on pulleys, bushings, bearings and hardware, and one year on cables, upholstery, grips, and other components.
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and requires assembly and use according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
