Detecto SlimPRO Low-Profile Digital Healthcare Scale The SlimPRO Low-Profile Floor Scale from Detecto is a high-quality digital healthcare scale designed for performance and durability in clinical grade usage weighing heavy patients. The SlimPROs extra-wide 17 by 14.5 inch weighing platform accommodates patients of all sizes, and the high 440 pound (200 kilogram) capacity allows for bariatric weighing with an accuracy of 0.2 pound (or 100 gram) increments. The incredibly low-profile 1.4 inch slim construction makes stepping on and off for weighing very easy. To help conserve battery life, the doctor scale automatically turns on when a patient steps on the scale, and turns off when one steps off. Weight is conveniently held onscreen for 5 seconds after weighing, easily viewable for patient and doctor alike through big 1.5 inch high LCD digits. Switching units from pounds to kilograms is easily performed through a switch on the back of the physican scale. The digital scales RS232 serial port allows data connectivity via a serial interface cable (sold separately) to an optional thermal tape printer or external PC with EMR/EHR software. The special swivel foot pads allow the platform scale to be used on a variety of floor surfaces, and even allow the SlimPRO to weigh accurately on carpet. Weighing only five pounds and featuring a built-in carrying handle, the SlimPRO battery operated medical scale is designed to be readily portable for easy carry to your patients allowing more privacy and confidentiality during office visit weighings.
