PRO SERIES Olympic Flat Bench Press w/ Band Pegs | Legend Fitness (3240) - The 3240 Pro Series Olympic Bench Press by Legend Fitness Equipment is the most innovative and multi-functional weight bench Legend makes. Youll first notice the monster uprights fabricated from 3 x 3 x 11 gauge carbon steel. Set on an angle, they integrate well with the arc of the lifters optimal bench press bar pathway. The multi-level bar catch system is laser cut from a single piece of 3/8 thick carbon steel which is chromed to look great and be scratch resistant. These gun rack style bar catches accommodate preferred lift off heights of different size users and can come in handy in case of a missed rep. Dual band pegs located at the base of the frame just to the side of the lifter provide the opportunity to periodically change up your bench press workout by integrating rubber resistance bands for variable resistance presses. Simply choose your preferred band resistance level and loop one end over the Olympic bar sleeve and the other end around the band peg. As the bar travels from chest to lockout, your pecs will be challenged with increased levels of resistance. What good is a bench press thats built like a tank if the padding bottoms out on heavy lifts? For that reason Legend uses only the best 2 thick rebond foam that helps distribute the weight between the back and shoulders and wont deform. And the cherry on top of the 3240 is the large capacity weight plate storage in the back. In all, there are a total of ten weight pegs designed to hold lots of Olympic plates 2.5 lbs. through 45 lbs.
