PRO SERIES Olympic Decline Bench Press w/Band Pegs | Legend Fitness (3243) - The 3243 Pro Series Decline Olympic Bench Press by Legend Fitness Equipment is the ultimate tool for increasing lean muscle mass and strength in the lower and mid pectoral muscles, front deltoids and triceps. This is not your typical basic decline weightlifting bench by any means. For starters, Legend builds the foundation of the 3243 using heavy-duty 3 x 3 x 11 gauge steel. This is the same type of fabrication used to build some of the strongest power racks and cages. The uprights are angled away from the trainee so as to stay out of the path of the Olympic bar. Gun Rack style bar catches offer three different bar heights to choose from which accommodates trainees with different arm lengths not to mention comes in handy in case of a missed rep. The padding used on the 3243 weightlifting bench is another standard upgrade superior to most other brands. The 2 thick rebond foam has a density rating of 8 lbs. per cubic foot. What this means to the lifter is more support to the shoulders and back when under a heavy bar and to the gym owner is means not having to replace flattened and worn out bench padding prematurely. For lifters short and tall and everything in-between, the leg and foot rollers are fully adjustable via pop-pin. Lifters can strap themselves in for the best possible alignment on the bench without sliding down as they press. Resistance band pegs are not something you typically see on an Olympic decline bench press. The 3243 offers a pair of pegs on either side of the bench that enables the lifter to hook up rubber band pegs for variable resistance weight training as an added tool in their training arsenal. And finally, the hunt for weight plates is over. Each 3243 comes with ten chrome plated storage pegs and will hold enough weight for the strongest lifters.
