Order inquiries

What Is The Status Of My Order?

Most orders arrive within 8-10 business days. Order status is communicated multiple ways:

  • Account Login: Customers can login to their Account to check order status. As soon as your order status changes it will appear in your online Account.
  • Email: Most customers will receive an order status update as soon as your order status changes. This can include shipping notifications, delivery confirmations, etc.

If you have questions about the status of your order, please email customerservice@ironcompany.com. Sales reps do not have access to online order status.

What Are Order Lead Times?

This can vary depending on your location and the product you are ordering.

  • Most orders arrive within 8-10 business days.
  • Custom orders, such as made to order strength equipment, usually takes 8+ weeks to ship.
  • Product availability and transit times can change frequently due to current events out of our control. We do our best to communicate this information to our customers as quickly as possible.

If you have a time sensitive order, such as a grand opening for a new club, and need to check lead times please email customerservice@ironcompany.com or contact the sale rep you are currently working with.

Is Shipping Included In My Order?

There are up to four shipping methods that we use which are determined by your location and the product(s) you are ordering:

Warehouse Pick-Up:
  • Warehouse Pick-Up will be displayed as an option on the product page and at checkout if you are within 100 miles of a warehouse that stocks the item(s) you are ordering. Local sales tax will apply at checkout.
  • Additional shipping fees are not billed for Warehouse Pick-Up.
  • You will be emailed shortly after your order is placed with the soonest pick-up date available (M-F Only), pick-up times, warehouse address, phone number and point of contact.
  • Most orders can be picked up within 72-hours (M-F) after ordering but can vary depending on product availability and warehouse schedule.
  • Bring a print-out of your order and a state issued ID.
  • Please fully inspect your order to make sure nothing is missing or damaged before you sign-off and leave the warehouse.
  • Please Note: Make sure to only bring a vehicle for Warehouse Pick-Up that is suitable for the size and weight of your product(s). If you are unsure, please contact us for more information.

Shipping Included:
  • Some items on our website include shipping via UPS or Freight. Any product that already includes shipping will clearly indicate this on the product page you are ordering from.
  • UPS: Products that include shipping and ship via UPS ground include delivery to the lower 48-states only. For orders shipping to AK, HI, US territories or outside these areas, a sales rep willcontact you shortly after your order is placed for approval of your custom UPS quote.
  • Freight: Products that include shipping and ship via LTL Freight include delivery to the lower 48-states only. For orders shipping to AK, HI, US territories or outside these areas, a sales rep willcontact you shortly after your order is placed for approval of your custom freight quote. You will receive a 24-hour delivery notification. Your freight will be delivered curbside at a location convenientfor a tractor trailer. Lift gate service is included for most deliveries. Customers are required to be available at the time of delivery to inspect the shipment, notate any shortages or damages on the deliverypaperwork, and sign for delivery. 

Calculate Shipping:
    For most items on our website that do not include shipping costs, customers can calculate their own shipping cost via the online shipping calculator. The shipping cost of your product(s) will be displayed at checkout. Any product that does not already include shipping will clearly indicate this on the product page you are ordering from. UPS: Products that ship via UPS ground include delivery to the lower 48-states only. Online shipping calculator does not calculate UPS shipping rates outside the lower 48-states. Custom Shipping Quote Required:
  • Any item that does not already include shipping and/or the shipping cost cannot be obtained through our online shipping calculator will require a custom shipping quote from an IRON COMPANY sales rep. This will be clearly indicated on the product page you are ordering from.
  • After your order is placed, an IRON COMPANY sales rep will send you a revised quote with the additional shipping cost for your approval usually within 24-hours. You will not be charged anything additional without your prior approval.
  • Custom Shipping Quotes are sometimes necessary due to multiple factors such as but not limited to oversized products, delivery location, quantity ordered, special delivery instructions or requests, etc.
  • UPS: Products that ship via UPS ground include delivery to the lower 48-states only. For orders shipping to AK, HI, US territories or outside these areas, a sales rep will contact you shortly after your order is placed for approval of your custom UPS quote.
  • Freight: Products that ship via LTL Freight include delivery to the lower 48-states only. For orders shipping to AK, HI, US territories or outside these areas, a sales rep will contact you shortly after your order is placed for approval of your custom freight quote. Is Warehouse Pick-Up Available For All Items?

Warehouse Pick-Up is available for select products from select brands. Most IRON COMPANY branded products (i.e. dumbbells, kettlebells, plates, bars, etc.) can be picked up at our warehouse in Farmers Branch, TX.

We do offer Warehouse Pick-Up for other items such as gym flooring, strength, cardio, etc. If Warehouse Pick-Up is available, it will be indicated on the product page you are ordering from.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Depending on the product and your specific location, IRON COMPANY ships all over the world.

  • We frequently ship to freight brokers within the US that our customers work with directly to move the freight to its final destination.
  • We have logistics operations set up for land, sea and air shipments depending on your budget and how fast you need it.
  • We can ship some products to military APO/FPO addresses that fall within USPS shipping guidelines.

How Are Shipping Costs Determined?

If you order a product that does not already include shipping costs, you will A) be able to calculate the shipping cost using our online shipping calculator or B) an IRON COMPANY sales rep will send you your additional shipping cost shortly after your order is placed if your item requires a Custom Shipping Quote. You will not be charged anything additional without your prior approval.

  • Shipping costs are determined by UPS and LTL Freight companies. IRON COMPANY works diligently to keep these rates as low as possible so that we can pass these discounts on to our customers.
  • Many things can affect the cost of shipping including your distance from our warehouse, the size/weight of your order, special delivery requirements, limited access locations, current fuel surcharges, etc. Dense shipments, such as weight plates, ship at a lower freight class and are therefore cheaper to ship than larger items, such as a StepMill. 500 lbs. of weight plates will ship much cheaper than a 500 lb. StepMill due to the amount of cubic feet the shipment requires on the truck.
  • There are economies of scale when shipping items via UPS or Freight. For example, if you are purchasing rubber mats, the per mat shipping cost is much more expensive when shipping a single mat compared to the per mat cost of shipping multiple at the same time.

Shipping and Delivery

Why Don’t You Offer FREE Shipping?

“FREE Shipping” does not exist, especially in the fitness industry where average shipments are hundreds of pounds. Those that claim they are offering FREE shipping are simply including their shipping cost in the delivered cost of the product. We prefer to use the term “Shipping Included” which is the appropriate, and truthful, terminology.

Will All My Items Ship In One Single Shipment?

Orders that include product from one single brand will more than likely arrive the same day. Orders that include multiple brands, especially if multiple shipping methods are being used such as UPS and Freight, you will likely receive these shipments on separate days.

What Is Required Of Me When Receiving A Freight Shipment?

If you ordered a product that arrives via LTL Freight, this means that this shipment was too big to ship by UPS Ground and is being delivered on a pallet or in a crate. Here’s what you need to do when accepting a freight delivery to ensure the best possible delivery experience:

  • Each freight delivery requires a 24-hour notification. When your order arrives at the terminal nearest you, the freight company will call you to set up a day and window of time for delivery. They will usually require the freight be delivered within the next day or two or additional storage fees may be applied.
  • Your freight will be delivered curbside at a location convenient for a tractor trailer.
  • Customers are required to be present at the time of delivery to inspect the shipment, notate any shortages or damages on the delivery paperwork, and sign for delivery.
  • Please Note!: If you find missing or damaged items, take a picture, or multiple pictures, of the intact cargo and send them to us with your order number after the driver leaves.
  • Please Note!: Before the driver leaves, you must indicate in writing on the driver’s delivery papers the description of the missing or damaged item(s). DO NOT sign the delivery papers without these notes or the freight company will deny any request for repair or replacement.

Commercial and GSA Sales

Can I get GSA pricing for my State/City/Local Government entity?

Ironcompany.com, LLC has been a GSA contractor for well over 20-years. Our GSA contract number is 47QSMA22D08NN.

We will require the following information for your quote:

  • Complete list of products and their part numbers.
  • Quantity of each product needed.
  • Ship to address including any special delivery requirements (i.e. inside delivery, assembly, trash removal, limited access, etc.)
  • Any deadline requirements.
  • Your name, phone number and email address.

Does IRON COMPANY Install Equipment and/or Gym Flooring?

Yes we do! We have a network of installers that can install most any type of indoor/outdoor gym equipment, gym flooring, turf and more. Installations can be performed in most states. Minimums do apply!

Do You Offer USA Made Products?

Yes we do! If we had our way, we’d sell nothing but USA Made products. But, we do make it easy to shop USA Made.

  • USA Made Badge: Any USA Made products we carry proudly displays a USA Made badge at the top of the product page.

IRON COMPANY offers protection plans (aka “extended warranties”) for residential and commercial products. These protection plans are offered on product pages where applicable.
