Body-Solid LMCG Landmine Club Grip for Rotational Strength Training - The Landmine Club Grip from Body-Solid is a functional training attachment with a solid steel ball-shaped end which fits over the sleeve end of an Olympic bar to allow rotational training exercises to be performed against weight resistance. As part of Body-Solid's Landmine Attachment (LMA) series, the Landmine Club Grip is intended for use with an Olympic bar, Olympic weight plates, and a landmine at ground level on the opposite end. Working out with the Landmine Club Grip adds versatility and greater comfort to traditional landmine strength exercises. The club end of the attachment has a ball diameter of 2.5 inches (slightly smaller than a baseball and slightly larger than a racquetball for reference). This allows for exercisers to either grip the ball with fingers and thumb around it for rotational movements, or to have the ball sit firmly and comfortably into the palm of the hand for upward presses when strength training. The club shaft between the Olympic sleeve tube and the ball end has a 1 inch diameter which also allows for those with a smaller hand size or for unilateral training in a neutral grip position. The Landmine Club Grip has a structural weight capacity of 500 pounds against rotational movement resistance, and allows a tight and secure fit to bars using the lock down knob so you dont have to worry about the attachment sliding or coming loose during dynamic or explosive functional training.
Growing in popularity by the year, landmines and landmine attachments are versatile, safe and easy-to-use. Trainers, strength coaches, athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels love them for their versatility, safety, ease of use, and effectiveness. Landmine exercises allow users to train in multiple planes while targeting a number of muscle groups. Core muscle engagement during landmine training combines both movement resistance (anti-flexion, anti-extension, anti-lateral flexion and anti-rotation) and movement generation (flexion, lateral flexion and rotation). Thanks to a multitude of rotational exercise possibilities, landmines improve strength and power while working the stabilizing muscles of the core, hips and shoulders. Landmine exercises are easy-to-learn and don't carry the same safety risks involved with traditional lifting moments. Landmines are ideal for large groups without fear of injury due to improper form or lack of supervision.
