Safe-T-Grip™ Non-Slip Diamond Plate Rolled Rubber - Light Duty 1/4" - Safe-T-Grip™ Rolled Rubber is a high tensile strength protective floor covering made from durable Tire/Plast material. By nature, rolled rubber is slip-resistant and well suited for insuring proper footing in wet or dry conditions. As a testament to its slip resistant characteristics, it is commonly used to cover and protect outdoor decks, walkways and even boat decks. Add a raised diamond plate pattern to the surface of your rolled rubber and its already superior slip resistance and aesthetics are enhanced even further. Our 1/4" thick rolls of diamond plate rubber are suitable for select applications in residential and commercial locations including high traffic areas in gyms, industrial buildings, warehouses and other locations. It can be adhered to wood and concrete sub-floors with either flooring tape (carpet tape) or a liquid, trowel on rubber adhesive like our MasterWeld 941. For less permanent installs, use the flooring tape.

What is Tire/Plast? IRON COMPANY® American Made Diamond Plate Rubber Flooring Rolls are manufactured from a 50/50 combination of recycled rubber and plastic. Most recycled gym flooring products are made from 100% crumb rubber that is bonded together by urethane. Our diamond plate material also incorporates plastic which gives the finish a smooth, non-porous appearance while greatly increasing the tensile strength. The plastic increases the wear life of the product and makes it impervious to spilled liquids such as water, oil and grease.

What applications are suitable for 1/4" thick rubber? 1/4" light commercial rolled rubber works well in areas that experience weight drop from lighter dumbbells and barbells. Weight machines that are plate loaded or that have weight stacks can be placed on top without cutting, tearing or damaging the surface. Use in garage gyms and training studios. An installation consultation is recommended after purchase.
