Other inferior spring collars for weightlifting bars will have noticeably smaller gauge spring steel that can bend, quickly lose their holding power or break altogether when used in a commercial environment. Even the plastic grips with the molded Ivanko logo are a cut above other spring collars offering a bigger and more rigid surface to make collar changes a cinch. The Ivanko spring clips are easy for both men and women to apply or remove on full sized Olympic bars, curl bars or other specialty bars. Simply squeeze the plastic tabs to expand the inside diameter of the collar, slide on the bar and let go.
