Adjust Resistance through a Wide Range
The Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike Smart Connect features both air and 8 different levels of magnetic resistance for a wide range of resistance levels. This allows you to customize your workout according whatever fitness goals you have, such as increasing your endurance, improving workout time, recovery, strength, explosiveness, etc. If you're a trainer, you can now train clients of various fitness levels, purpose, age, gender, with our AirPlus Expert Bike thanks to its adjustability in intensity and resistance.

Levels 1-2: Lighter than most standard air bike resistances. This is a key differentiator of the Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike 3.0 since most other air bikes on the market are not suitable for LISS cardio work as the resistance is too heavy and users tire out too quickly. This range is uniquely designed to be light and suitable for LISS (low intensity steady state) cardio work, marathon training or long distance running/biking, and younger/elder athletes.
Levels 3-5: This resistance range matches the resistance of virtually all other air bikes in the world. We suggest using level 4 for what we think is the best feeling and efficiency. However, you can choose any level between 3-5 for what is most comfortable for you.
Levels 6-8: Heaviest levels and another bright spot of the Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike 3.0. Best suited for HIIT (high intensity interval training), expert level hill climbs, power training, and burning more calories per hour with higher watts.

Able to Stand Anything
The heavy duty, 174LB base stays in place during the most intense workouts while still being easy to transport for storage. Because of its overbuilt 174 LB frame and components, standing on the bike and using the Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike like an elliptical is just one of the many added benefits compared to traditional air bikes where only sitting is allowed.

Comfort Adjustments
To maximize comfort, the seat is oversized and adjustable upwards/downwards as well as forward/backward. Make adjustments on the fly by simply loosening and tightening of seat post to the desired position.

Multi-Grip Handlebar (Neutral and Regular Grips)
The multi-grip handlebars allow for a neutral or wide grip and are padded to reduce slipping.

Plastic Shroud covering offers gyms, trainers, and home users a safe bike where virtually every moving part is covered to prevent any possible injury. The plastic cover also acts as a shield between your sweat and its metal, preventing rust before it occurs!

Console
The Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike Smart Connect comes everything you're accustomed to and more. The console is designed specifically for functional training with pre-set and custom intervals for HIIT training as well as targets for time, distance, calories and heart rate. The console knows and displays the level of AirPlus resistance that you're using and takes it into account when calculating calories and wattage. Upon completion of your workout, console displays an easy to read summary.

The large console display gives users an easy way to measure performance and track progress without having to press multiple buttons to toggle through displays. On one screen, you can see 8 different key measurements: Total Time, Work Time, Calories, Distance, Watts, Speed, RPM, and Heart Rate. Everything you need in one, easy-to-read console with the ability to setup Interval Training, Target Training, Heart-Rate Training, and more. Compatible with 5khz chest belts.

The console also allows for switching between units of measurement: Meters or Miles as well as switching between max and current read outs. Our console is easier to use and more accurately reads changes in speed than other air bike consoles. We've also included the ability to SET or TARGET distance, calories, and time while the console counts down from your targeted goal so you know just how much longer to work for. Setup Custom Interval Work, Rest, and Number of Rounds in less than 5 seconds.

Smart Connect Ecosystem
The easy-to-use console features Smart Connect, which allows users to connect our Smart Connect equipment to a variety of 3rd party apps, such as Gymtrakr for record-keeping or Zwift for virtual rides. 

How Does it Compare to Other Air Bikes?
There are many benefits of including variable resistance in a standard air bike as it allows athletes to train for strength, cardiovascular and multiple combinations between the two. Users can better achieve specific goals (i.e. general heath improvements, weight loss, muscle tone) due to the wide range of resistance provided by the added magnetic resistance as well as the natural resistance from the flywheel as you increase RPMs. Additionally, this equipment allows users to gradually increase the intensity of their workout as they progress in their fitness journey.

You can burn an average of 57% more calories/hour by using resistance level 8 over level 1. Similarly, wattage output increases by nearly 76% on average (assumes 60KG user).

3.0 Update: How is the 3.0 Version Different from the Original AirPlus Expert Bike Smart Connect?
We wanted to create a bike that is one of the lightest if not the lightest air bike on its lowest setting and also can be the heaviest when set to its higher settings. With the updated 3.0 version, we believe we've accomplished this goal with the air bikes that we've compared to. Based on customer feedback, we've adjusted the resistance range of the 3.0 to be about 20% lighter than compared to the original. This makes it easier to perform warm-up, cool-down, longer rides, and for beginner athletes or older clientele. Once the AirPlus lever is adjusted to higher levels such as 7 or 8, you still have an air bike which provides the heaviest resistance settings in the market! The 3.0 also features increased handlebar range of motion compared to the original, which matches the handlebar range of motion on our other popular Xebex air bikes
