Body-Solid Tools BSTOBJ Olympic Bar Jack – The Body-Solid BSTOBJ is a deadlift jack used to elevate an Olympic barbell so that bumper plates and other weightlifting plates can easily and efficiently be loaded and unloaded without making contact with the floor. The BSTOBJ Olympic Bar Jack is simple and safe to use. Simply position the jack under the bar shaft on the inside of either sleeve collar, then press down on the back of the handle. Alternatively, in the case of a very heavy load, you may also step down upon the back of the handle, employing the stronger leg muscles to provide the counter force. Using simple leverage, the jack will roll back and upwards upon the tubular fulcrum, elevating the bar a few inches to provide clearance between the plates and ground. This effective tool can lift up to 500 pounds per side with minimal effort. This shortens the time needed between sets to add or decrease weight, especially when changing between two different lift loads for workout partners of different strengths sharing the same bar in a cross-training workout or other group fitness setting. The smaller BSTOBJ Olympic Bar Jack is much more space efficient and portable than a full size jack. Use as a single to elevate one side of the bar, or combine two BSTOBJ Olympic Bar Jacks to elevate the entire Olympic bar at once.
