Each Intek steel barbell is constructed of a high quality hard chromed solid steel alloy bar and solid steel heads that are press fit together at a very high PSI and fully welded for additional durability. There are no bolts or other fastening mechanisms to have to maintain. Intek Armor Series barbells never come loose! Hard shore, matte finish urethane coating is very attractive and hard wearing. It is also impact resistant which is important for protecting the barbell and surrounding equipment.
