The Optimill offers limitless performance both for walking and running. Because the user is not bound by the speed setting or program of a motorized belt, rehabilitation patients can walk at a speed and pattern that conforms to their current physical ability while a runner can sprint at speeds most motorized treadmills could not keep up with. The Optimill's flat surface with individual force-absorbing treads, or "slats", reduces the impact on joints and makes it essential for you to propel yourself forward for the belt to move.
